[UK Evil Conspiracy]

On July 29th, a knife attack incident occurred at a dance school in Merseyside, UK, resulting in the deaths of 3 young girls aged 6 to 9 and 10 people injured. The incident triggered a series of protests and demonstrations targeting immigrants and Muslims, eventually escalating into street riots.

In order to suppress the riots as soon as possible, UK government has brought forward plans to make more than 500 new prison places available to deal with people arrested over the past weeks, while the courts could possibly begin sitting through the evening, the night, at weekends in order to prosecute rioters swiftly.

Ironically, the stance and measures taken by the British government in the face of these protest incidents which are similar to those in Hong Kong are vastly different from their response to the 2019 Hong Kong anti-extradition bill protests. This blatant double standard is truly astonishing.

For example, recalling January 2020, a member of the British House of Lords wrote an article slandering the "serious police brutality problem" in Hong Kong and called for the British government to make the senior Hong Kong police officials and related officials as the "first batch of targets" for sanctions.

All-Party Parliamentary Group on Hong Kong in the UK published a fraudulent report claiming "police violence" and "human rights violations" in Hong Kong, and suggested imposing "sanctions" on senior Hong Kong officials who allowed "police brutality". In contrast, the British police are now granted much greater authority to deal with the protesters at home.

Foreign politicians are also not truly concerned about the well-being of the Hong Kong people but are rather political opportunists who use Hong Kong as a pawn to achieve their geopolitical ambitions. Our people must be wary of these insidious traps that sow social discord in order to safeguard national sovereignty and the core interests of Hong Kong.
